McKenna Turner

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, McKenna joined the United States Army and was stationed in Oahu, Hawaii. She later married her high school sweetheart, who actively serves in the United States Marine Corps, and together they made their way to Jacksonville, North Carolina. Today, McKenna continues her service as a member of the United States Army Reserves — proudly embracing her new role as a “weekend warrior” while building her career and life in Eastern North Carolina.

For two years, McKenna stepped away from the traditional workforce to be a stay-at-home mom while earning her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Forensics, continuing her passion for understanding people, the law, and the many fascinating ways the two intersect.

Outside of the office (and when she’s not buried in a book), McKenna enjoys working out, spending time with her family, and appreciating the little things in life. She believes that a good day can be made up of equal parts hard work, family time, a good workout, and probably an unreasonable amount of coffee.

With a background shaped by military service, motherhood, education, and a genuine curiosity about everything, McKenna brings a unique perspective, a strong work ethic, and a little personality to everything she does — whether she’s in the office or trading her desk for her weekend-warrior duties.
